SummaryThe system is the oldest grid connected PV system in Sweden. It was taken into operation in october 1984 and has generated energy ever since without any unplanned stops. However, moisture in a junctionbox created a shortcut between two modules and 16-25 % of the production was lost during 1999 as a consequence. After 22 years these modules still works perfectly. In fact the energy yield has increased as a result of changing the original inverter (with an efficiency of about 70 %) to one with significantly higher efficiency.
