SummaryDuring the Zonnewoud project in Boven Leeuwen, Innoplan has constructed 42 dwellings, each of which is provided with a 20-m² solar pv system. Basis of the project was the integration of solar panels in the architecture of the houses. From the very first architectural concept and on, the application of solar power was taken into account. The houses are designed in such a way that the solar pv system can always be placed to the south. A goal of the project was to gain experience in selling solar-paneled houses. The buyers of the dwellings are also owner of the solar pv system. It was important to include the solar pv system in the house’s guarantee certificate. All of the dwellings fall under the so-called Green Project Agreement, so the residents can finance part of the purchase price with a Green Home Loan [Groene Hypotheek].
