SummaryIn 1992 EUROSOLAR e.V. launched a symposium 'A Solar supplied governmental Quarter' for the new government district at Berlin. Most of the newly erected gov. building were equipped with PV systems with a total of approx. 1 MW. On top of the glazed roof of this building a PV plant has been constructed, whose photovoltaic lamellas generate electricity and protect the interior from too much insolation. The photovoltaic lamellas track the position of the sun on a single axis.
