SummaryNerima city planned a project to develop an eco-school utilizing natural energy, which had a concept of symbiosis with nature in urban area, as retrofitting school building of the Kowa elementary school. The project was certified as ‘Eco-school pilot model project’, e.g. project for promoting environment-friendly school facilities. A capacity of PV system is 20kW in total and the system is consisted of two kinds of PV array. One is installed as a roof of terrace and the other is installed on the roof mounted. The capacity of both PV systems is 10kW each.
