SummaryThe PV installations at Solgården are a part of a city renewal program which is meant to demonstrate the potential for PVs in urban areas in the future. The cells are installed in two sections. One section consists of four wings at the roof which follow the curve of the building, installed in a 30 degree angle. The other part is vertical installations of PVs in the front of the balconies on the south side of the building. Solgården is used by a local producer of inverters as a test site for new products. It is the largest PV system in Denmark at the moment but will soon be decreased to the second largest when a new installation in Copenhagen will take over the position.
