SummaryThe municipality of Ales used the vestige of an eleventh century heritage listed church to create a tourist Office. The construction of three bays have increased the tourist office surface. A PV-system is integrated to each of these three bays. An isolating double glazing is mounted behind the PV-systems. There is a 11 cm air space between the PV-system and the double glazing. The air inside this space, warmed by the sun, pre-warm the building in winter and ventilate it in summer. The semi-transparent PV-modules have a brown anti-reflect coating, especially selected for esthetical aspects.
